I just love these beautiful images, fabulous deep etched rubber that are perfect for embossing and still lots of room to colour. This image is "A Good Book" and the talented artist that created these images is <a href="http://www.crissysartnheart.blogspot.com/">Crissy Armstrong. </a><br /><br />The image was embossed with black and painted with Tombows. The border punch is from MS and the flowers were made with Ek Success Retro flower punches.<br /><br />We will be having a "Copic Class with Joe" in February, another perfect medium to use for these gorgeous Wags N' Whiskers images. Be sure to keep a watch as the spaces are limited and Joe's class fills to capacity very quickly.<br /><br />Have a great day...<br />Cathy xThe Rubber Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00068601851532050256noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-630721414405102589.post-22906669908707161312010-01-02T20:27:00.001-08:002010-01-02T20:50:35.634-08:00HAPPY NEW YEAR and A NEW RUBBER STAMP COMPANY<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit6Uk6wAVk43qSmnf_b-eps-yuCCI3w-S-nQOOtc4493sm-XXCOaZ2S3ZeWUuBiTTcFdrmWwHI4Krz2Arwz4o9FN6cGdDEaHL-ek-91BuOrY9krbVxprKuxvUm4ioLyxCCD_G6GdqpLC8i/s1600-h/WnW+%233+002-1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 309px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit6Uk6wAVk43qSmnf_b-eps-yuCCI3w-S-nQOOtc4493sm-XXCOaZ2S3ZeWUuBiTTcFdrmWwHI4Krz2Arwz4o9FN6cGdDEaHL-ek-91BuOrY9krbVxprKuxvUm4ioLyxCCD_G6GdqpLC8i/s320/WnW+%233+002-1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5422370949001956658" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Happy New year to you all<br /><br />What a way to start the new year, I am delighted to introduce you to a new rubber stamp line that The Rubber Room will be carrying. It is "Tumbling Santa" and the image is from High Hopes..."Stackable Santa". The reason we called him tumbling is because he is one of our specialty cards that move. If you notice in the bottom right hand corner there is a small black scallop wheel. When you turn the wheel the Santa at the bottom turns around and around.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuFoBDQUVUbGVt8bOwHynrJzoRcc_fek_0Lm5SgA1wAURlGv6YiPVsh57ZjQntHM1PY9tQNYXCHHe0MpmExDCP8JORtya5GCOiHuSJ8dy_vifA1IfU-32MXs1hVDKjpAxOAt2dwV_4KjYD/s1600/stackable+santa+002.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 266px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuFoBDQUVUbGVt8bOwHynrJzoRcc_fek_0Lm5SgA1wAURlGv6YiPVsh57ZjQntHM1PY9tQNYXCHHe0MpmExDCP8JORtya5GCOiHuSJ8dy_vifA1IfU-32MXs1hVDKjpAxOAt2dwV_4KjYD/s320/stackable+santa+002.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5408112405799641474" border="0" /></a>The images were painted with Tombows and the background is the CB folder...Snowflakes.<br />The snowflakes were punched with a MS snowflake punch and sponges with Brilliance Starlite Black. The card stock is black, white and red linen.<br /><br />Have a great day...<br />Cathy xThe Rubber Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00068601851532050256noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-630721414405102589.post-132936384734984892009-11-19T10:40:00.001-08:002009-11-19T10:51:39.291-08:00FLOURISHES CITY OF DAVID<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghSuAI7fDVq3ZiYgyaFDdnPgv3CeWjDWTcj2YuKBnIz3Kr27J2NgyFizVU66SLdq4-EYAOpkzjS3QmKSez0vsymf5eC5iSv9C2OQy7SPpV2_yjLIVZH0ulvK4MpuyYHrNa69M1dG3_yUj2/s1600/city+of+david.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 305px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5405886730132719954" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghSuAI7fDVq3ZiYgyaFDdnPgv3CeWjDWTcj2YuKBnIz3Kr27J2NgyFizVU66SLdq4-EYAOpkzjS3QmKSez0vsymf5eC5iSv9C2OQy7SPpV2_yjLIVZH0ulvK4MpuyYHrNa69M1dG3_yUj2/s320/city+of+david.jpg" /></a><br /><div>This is one of the cards we did in a class recently. The stamp is from Flourishes (I absolutely LOVE their stamps). It is watercoloured with Tombow markers and put through the Xyron machine to attach the permanent adhesive to enable the Crystal Art Institute Glitter to stick.</div><div>I used the Hanging Starburst Bigz die from Sizzix for the stars (which I also covered in glitter). The Wise Men were cut out and of course I added Stickles glitter to them too. All was mounted to a navy Diamond dust cardstock to complete this glittery look. </div>The Rubber Roomhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00068601851532050256noreply@blogger.com3
